Set in the Uttarkashi district of the state of Uttarakhand, the Dayara Bugyal is one of the vastest Eastern Himalayan Alpine meadows that rises to a height of 12,100 ft and stretches over an area of 28 sq km.

Different seasons paint unique pictures of the Dayara Bugyal that transitions from appearing lush green, vibrant and flashy during summers, to snow-coated, milky white, and heavenly during winters, and a subtle hybrid of both greenery as well as snow patches during spring.
In all seasons, however, what remains constant is the devastating beauty of the meadow. The refreshing and drool-worthy aesthetics of this Himalayan Alpine meadow are simply unmatched.
